I knew this wasn’t just another winter storm when I turned on the police scanner and heard “Does anyone in the south end (of Etobicoke) have any yellow barrier tape left? Fire has run out”.

Driving around today, it was obvious that TPS and TFS unrolled miles and miles of the stuff over the past day and a half. It seemed like every second or third house had tree limbs down. Fortunately, most missed houses, cars, and power lines.

On South Kingslea Drive, we missed the worst, and just had a pretty view to enjoy. The sun popped out just before sunset….here’s the view this evening.
